The incorporation of new technologies in CNC Training becomes a reality with the beginning of the implementation of the Research Project "Entertainment Software Development for the Digital Education of CNC Machine Tools Programming - G4M".

CNC Training Center contributes essentially to the project implementation with its precious experience and know-how accumulated in the last 4 years, being the only one CNC Training Unit in Greece and neighboring countries.

The overall project objective is to incorporate new education technologies and practices in the machining with Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM). More specifically, a new entertainment educational environment will be created (serious game), within which the trainees - engineers will acquire the necessary knowledge for the programming of CNC Machine Tools.

The participation of CNC Training Center takes place through its owner company CNC Solutions.

For the implementation of the project, CNC Training Center and CNC Solutions collaborate with the Micromachining and Manufacturing Modeling Lab of the Technical University of Crete and the Laboratory of Distributed Multimedia Information Systems and Applications of the Technical University of Crete.

The project is being implemented in the context of the Action "RESEARCH-CREATE-INNOVATE" of the Greek Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs.
