CNC Turning & Milling - Level 2

The program “CNC Turning & Milling Level 2" is essential for those who have previous experience and technical knowledge in the field of CNC machine tools but want to further develop their career as professional CNC technicians.

Target

The Training Program “CNC Turning & Milling Level 2" is aimed at:

  • those who have previous experience and technical knowledge in the field of CNC machine tools and wish to advance professionally as highly qualified experienced handlers- Programmers on CNC Machines, undertaking responsible posts in modern CNC machining centers, either as Group Leaders or as Operators-programmers for complex processes on CNC machines.

Prerequisites

  • Successful completion of the "CNC Turning & Milling Level 1", or 
  • significant experience at least five (5) years as operator - programmer in CNC machine shop or relevant part of industrial company in Greece or abroad, or 
  • ability of handling and programming CNC machine tools to perform simple treatments.

Purpose

The ultimate goal of the "Operation & Programming CNC Machines - Level 2" is the creation of experienced CNC technicians, who, equipped with the necessary skills, expertise and experience, will be able to work in positions of responsibility, either as Group Leaders - Engineering either as operators - Programmers on CNC Machines for complex processes in modern machine shops or corresponding sections of large industrial companies in Greece or abroad.

Introduction to the Training Level 2.

Mechanical drawing: threads, serrations, welds, symbols surface quality, dimensional tolerances, form and position.

Numerical control: control of automatic CNC machine tool control problems.

Internship in CNC machine tools: Construction thread on a lathe and milling machine.

Numerical control: Types of position control, restraint and loading the workpiece.

Mechanical drawing: intersections and spreads.

Machining processes: cutting, deformation.

Internship in CNC machine tools Manufacture of composite jig on a lathe and milling machine.

Chapter 3

Materials: Thermal processes, quality control.

Lathe Programming: Commands, machining cycles.

Internship in CNC machine tools: Treatment dyed component on a lathe and milling machine.

Chapter 4

Lathe Programming: Cycles treatment, other commands based on guidance from HAAS.

Internship in CNC machine tools Manufacture complex object or moderate complexity lathe.

Chapter 5

Programming lathe: Other commands based on guidance HAAS, using subprograms, differences between guidance and other guidance HAAS (FANUC, SIEMENS, HEIDENHEIN).

Programming milling: Commands, machining cycles.

Internship in CNC machine tools Manufacture of composite object high degree of complexity in the lathe.

Chapter 6

Programming milling: Circles treatment, other commands based on guidance HAAS, using subprograms.

Internship in CNC machine tools Manufacture of composite object medium level of complexity in bur.

Chapter 7

Programming milling : Circles treatment, other commands based on guidance HAAS, HAAS differences between guidance and other guidance (FANUC, SIEMENS, HEIDENHEIN).

Internship in a CNC Milling machine with composite object with a high level of complexity.
